The training was organized within the project Capacity building of agricultural businesses in drought adaptation, funded by USAID, and implemented in partnership of CRP Tuzla and Nešto više.
The objective was to familiarize participants with the effects of drought to agro businesses. A total of 25 participants attended the training, including representatives of municipalities, Ministries of Agriculture, Water-Management and Forestry FBiH and RS and Ministry of Foreign trade and economic relations BiH.

A total of 25 participants attended the training, including representatives of municipalities, Ministries of Agriculture, Water-Management and Forestry FBiH and RS and Ministry of Foreign trade and economic relations BiH.

One of the outcomes of the training is a conclusion that there is a need for further education of government officials in the field of environmental impact assessment. In that regard, assistant Minister of Foreign trade and economic relations BiH invited USAID to support such activity.

Another outcome is an initiative that agriculture departments in municipalities request allocation of certain financial resources to support building of demonstration irrigation systems based on the USAID examples.
